I would like to reiterate this message so that the tool of handwritten “letters” will not be forgotten.

I believe that the skill of writing is a tool that most people have, that most people in Japan and abroad can express their sincerity, and that most people can convey their sincerity.
I believe that most people have equal sensibilities and senses, and that writing is one way in which a person's sincerity can be expressed.
Letters written by human hands are a visible form and information, but they also convey something invisible to the eye.

I believe that more and more people will be unaware of the value of the act of writing a letter with all their heart, conveying their feelings, and receiving them.
However, as long as human beings are analog, I hope that such experiences and sincerity will not be forgotten.

This is a letter to my grandmother.

 

手書きの”手紙”というツールが忘れ去られないように改めて発信したいと思います。

やはり、書くという技術は大半の人が持ち合わせていて、日本でも海外でも、大半の人が真心を表現することができ、大半の人が真心を伝えられるツールだと思っています。
大半の人が平等な感覚、センスを持ち合わせていて、文字はその人の真心が現れるひとつの手法であると捉えています。
人の手で書かれた文字というのは、目に見える造形、情報だけど、目に見えない何かを感じられるものなのです。

心を込めて手紙を書いて想いを伝える、また、それを受け取る、という行為の価値を知らない人も今後増えていくかと思っています。
ですが、人間がアナログである以上は、そういった体験や真心を忘れ去られないといいなと思い、デザインしました。

これは、おばあちゃんへの手紙です。
